I was inspired to do this painting earlier this year around July 4. The icon,American Eagle, brings to our minds in our country that of hope,patriotism and freedom. We have great pride as Americans to make the world a better place. The American Eagle as a representation or icon imbues this mindset in our country.
I am an oil painter. I paint still life, farm animals and landscapes. I also stretch myself occasionally and create in mixed media, but my first love is painting!
