I painted this bison from a photograph I took near Stratford, Oklahoma. The owner of the herd generously gave me and a friend permission to take photos of his animals. They are unusual animals and I had been wanting to paint one for several years. I was also compelled to video the process of painting him. I'm so thankful because I think viewers can see how much I enjoyed it. If interested, you can find it on my facebook page.
