I was inspired to name this original painting Winken, Blinken and Nod because the tall wheat grass around them seemed like a sea...one in which they could be lost in neutral and soothing colors. When I took the photo of their inquisitive and gentle faces I instantly thought of the Nursery Rhyme.

I am an oil painter. I paint still life, farm animals and landscapes. I also stretch myself occasionally and create in mixed media, but my first love is painting!
