Description

Sundown Donkey is one of two donkeys that I painted a few years ago. They belonged to some neighbors of ours and I happened to be driving one evening when the sun was going down. They had been in the heat all day and were grazing. As the sun shown through their hair, the tips of their hair looked a brilliant orange. So colorful! I was so inspired to paint them.
